What is Choreography ?
Choreography is the art or practice of designing sequences of movements of physical bodies in which motion, form, or both are specified. Choreography may also refer to the design itself.
Choreography is used in a variety of fields, including ballet, opera, musical theater, cheer leading, cinematography,
gymnastics, fashion shows, ice skating, marching band, show choir, theatre, synchronized swimming, cardistry, video game production, and animated art.
TYPES OF CHOREOGRAPHY
There are two types of Choreography
1. Improvisation
Improvisation is where dancers get a general guideline but can then interpret some of the movements themselves.
2. Planned
Planned choreography is dictated to dancers in specific detail.
How to Become a Choreographer ?
The education and preparation needed to become a choreographer. Choreographers typically are seasoned dancers who design performances that convey moods and ideas using movement or a particular style of dance in staged performances. Most choreographers are dancers who have been training and performing since they were very young.
